    On December 27, 2006:
    I got a set of these Copper Core All-Clad "pots and pans" and was really surpised. I mean the quality and craftmanship are outstanding. Next I cooked with them and must say that what All-Clad claims...they are true! Yes, there is no hotspot. Also, what i noticed that since the heat distribution is even and goes up to the wall (of the pot), it seems to me that cooking time was a bit reduced while the everything in the pot was properly cooked.

    I made couple of stews and soups for the holidays so I was busy around the kitchen. What really helped is that cleaning these pots are really easy and fast. On the other hand, you have to be careful with the copper line that is visible. It can be tricky to keep that copper line shiny. Otherwise I am really satisfied with this product and highly recomnmend everyone. I think this All-Clad copper series is a one time investment and will outlast the "chef."
