I love these candles. They have great balance and perfume the environment without being overpowering or too smoky. I use the refills either in their original holders or on their own. the Cyprus Green is neither too feminine nor too masculine. It's a perfect whole house candle.

My history with Rigaud goes back to 1981 when I bought a Cypres Green Rigaud for my home as part of my Holiday shopping. What an experience!!! It was the most luxuriously refreshing, soothing and comforting fragrance I had ever smelled. Since then, it is a must on my Holiday shopping list for myself and special friends.

The Rigaud Cypress (dark green) candle has been a staple in my life for years! I burn them almost all year long, and Christmas just isn't the same without the aroma in my house. My mother had them while I was growing up, and it brings back such great memories.... I give them away as gifts, and they soon become favorites!

I first smelled this candle because a friend of mine had one, I commented so many times on how much I loved it she gave me one! I LOVE THIS CANDLE!!!

Although they are a bit pricey we found the scents scrumptious; especially the gardenia and santifolio. I clean and recycle the glass and have found many uses for them. We also keep a supply of small ones on hand for hostess gifts.
Try one.

I HAVE BEEN USING THESE SINCE THEY ARRIVED ON THE MARKET-BACK IN THE 70'S THEY ARE VERY SPECIAL-AND I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED THE SCENT. IT IS MOST UNFORTUNATE THAT THEY ARE SO EXPENSIVE, BUT WHAT ELSE FROM FRANCE. I LIVED IN PARIS FROM 1993-1995.

I have been burning the Rigaud Candles for the last 6 years. I have tried them all and enjoy the Cypress (green) the best.
When company walks into my home, they say "your home smells awesome!" I have never had wick trouble, they are worth every penny paid!!!

The Rigaud green Cypres has had me addicted to its rich fragrance ever since I first got a whiff of it at Bloomingdales back in the mid 1970s. Even after all these years, I still love it...it appeals to both sexes and even my 14 year old son asks "What is that, that smells so good?" I have a supply of the travel sizes which are great for making any room away from home smell like a million bucks.

This cypress candle from Rigaud used to be so hard to find that you would have to shop the best of the Fifth Avenue stores very early in the season to be lucky enough to find it. With all the fashion brand candles now so common in the marketplace, this candle still stands at the top of the list for delivery an exquisite holiday fragrance that never over-announces itself but subtlety fills a house.

Was introduced to your Cypress Candle
many years ago at a friends flat in
New York ........just couldn't get that
wonderful scent out of my mind....brings
back memories of friends and family.
I now try not to be without one in my
home in Jamaica - there is nothing quite
like it.......Congrats!
P.S. Am also a great lover of France and
anything French.

Holidays are not complete at my house without the scent of this candle...It permeates the whole house and all my guests comment on it. It's my favorite candle, and believe me, I know candles...

I've enjoyed Rigaud candles since the '80's and traveling to Paris as a flight crew member. You won't spend money on ordinary paraffin again, and I find they last longer than 50 hours. There is no comparison.

When we moved into our 1894 Greek Revival Farmhouse 15 years ago, I began using Tournesol by Rigaud exclusively in my home. The reaction of every person visiting was "Wow, how do you make this place smell so great!" I have never varied my home fragrance and am bereft when the supply gets low!

Love the Gardenia true to the flower

I love the fresh evergreen scent of the Cypres green Rigaud candle. The soft wax makes the fragrance so good. Don't wait until it is hot outside to order because the candles will melt in transit. I am ordering mine now for the hot months to come. I love hiking in the mountains, and I love Christmas. This scent reminds me of both!
