Founded in the 1920s, Alessi is based out of Crusinallo, Italy, a region historically devoted to the production of household goods. In the 1950s Alessi adjusted it's focus to concentrate primarily on creating the best stainless steel home products possible. The strategy has worked extremely well and Alessi's stainless steel products are the best available anywhere in the world still to this day. Alessi currently has approximately 500 employees directly involved in project development, production, sales, and distribution. Alessi exports 65% of its household goods to over 60 countries.
